We're making a trip to the US with 2 young kids. Would you recommend Qatar Airlines? Thanks.

Guess that you will find much more experienced travellers than me, but my first long distance trip (Madrid-Singapore) was with Qatar Airways, and I found few airlines with better service. Just now I can think only in Singapore Airlines as a better one

Good airline on a par with / better than SQ. Only 'hiccup' might be the length of stopover at Doha - esp with kids. The terminal is very sparse with a jungle gym and a sleeping room and some food options. Have had some long connections and its been very tiring (most main route flights are designed as "in & out")

Yes, I missed that point.

For me it was a release (my first long distance flight, so the stop was welcome), but with kids will be different. Something to think about

Not sure about your exact route, but most of the routes have a long stop there.
