S-Pass - Does this constitute relevant work experience?

I am in the final stages of interviewing for a sub-editor position here in Singapore and am now looking ahead to the s-pass app process should I get offered the job.

My key question is what constitutes relevant work experience? I havent worked in a full editing position before, however editing comprised 40% of my previous role which I did for five years. The title and other portion of the role was completely unrelated to editing.

Can this be included as 'relevant work experience' or must the role consist purely of the kind of work you are applying for?
