I know that the tickets for swimming cost $30, I am not sure about the rest. Is it ok to post the YOG ticketing hotline number on here? Its 6348 2010. Mods you may delete it if I was not supposed to.
CNA released news on last minute ticket sales. It doesn't apply to swimming though. Argh!

Tickets have been selling like hot cakes the past days for popular competitions and swimming is one of them. Immortal, sorry, I don't have spare tickets for tonight's swimming finals. I just confirmed that tickets for tonight's event have been all sold out. I will be watching it on tv from YOG ops base. Let me check with my team mates if they have spare tickets and will let you know.

I don't have any ticket too. Would like to go to handball, but don't understand very well why couldn't i book online 4 days ago, but someone walking in 1pm today could get one. Why to play this roulette game? I spend my time, go to Suntec "in case" and maybe I get a ticket. If not, I have lost a few hours
So far, my only black dot in an excellent organization

I think there is a certain allocation for online bookings and walk in customers. Maybe the online allocations were sold out but there were still tickets for the walk in customers...correct me if i am wrong...i know this happens for many events in several countries.

I went to see the athletics preliminaries last week at Bishan Stadium and really enjoyed it. The commentator was a bit quiet, so it was hard to hear what was going on sometimes, but it was a good vibe and the school kids there were loving it, especially one school of tiny tots who got their photos taken with some of the athletes - one of the USA guys was so tall I wasn't sure that they'd manage to get his head and the little kids in the same photo!
Sadly our TV packed up last week and can't be fixed until later this week so it looks like I won't be able to get to see any of the finals.

I watched the Singapore v Haiti football semi-final last night, I have never seen so much diving and play-acting as I saw from the Haiti players and that includes in world-cups, premier league, champions league etc...
Really disappointing to watch a bunch of 14 year olds throw themselves to the ground every time someone looks at them and then roll around 20 times feigning injury, clearly the coach is not teaching them how the game should be played, just to cheat instead. And to make it worse they were a very dirty team themselves and kicked lumps out of the Singaporean lads every chance they got

in fact I feel kinda regret never sign up to help out in YOG.
Just knew one of my manager went to help out till aug 30 come back to work.
Is also a chance to know lot of new friends and important is once in a lifetime experience I should say.
In fact I want to watch diving at tpy but heard that sold out.
well for me I watch from YOG live stream..lol even at office .
But some of the stream the volume kinda soft or something lag.
Overall still watchable.
