The Rising not risen

Postby vidia » Sat, 13 Aug 2005 1:18 pm

Ind Babe, Sabrina and Indi Lens,

Looks like Mangal Pandey is not ready yet, so they are showing 7.5 Phere with Juhi - how about that instead? Sunday afternoon?

No one else seems into the movies - Aquarian and Psych, what about you guys?

Then we can hop to Bombay Cafe after!

I'm game for Mangal Pandey, but not any other movie. Oh and I'm back! :D

Well, looks like 7.5 Phere doesn't excite the same interest as Mangal Pandey! Oh well, will be there at 2 if anyone wants to come!

On to AR Rahman. It's on 24 September, here are the details: http://www.sistic.com.sg/SOPApp/SOPPort ... BT5IAzsJFM

It's expensive but the list of performers is quite dazzling (including Udit Narayan).

Can those who are definitely interested and who can make that date give me an indication of the price they are willing to pay and then we'll do what the majority decide? Remember to factor in the hefty service charge (*&$% sistic!)

As for the Shabana Azmi play, Betrayal, it starts this Thursday but looks like the preview is sold out. I am thinking of going on Saturday for the 4 pm matinee - anyone else interested?

See ya!

Hiya Vidia, thanks for the welcome. Enjoy the movie.

Will think about AR Rahman show and let you know. Can't make it for the Shabana Azmi play, have guests at home.

Thanks hun, and Happy Independence Day to you and everyone else.

'Mangal Pandey' would've been an apt movie to watch yesterday. Oh well...lets plan to see it next weekend.
