I'm not familiar with either but need to find some good Bhangra parties - and not the sleazy Little India types of places. Please help this little Punjabi girl who has moved to Singapore from Sydney. Thanks, Reenie.

I have literally been in Singapore for only 3 weeks so am really not familiar with the clubs/bars/dj's etc. Although I'd be happy to do it, I wouldn't know where to start!! Where do they normally take place? No I haven't been daring enough to go to any at Little India, but the bars look really seedy there!!!!! Am I correct in assuming this?

Am not sure reenie, am quiet blur blur on these things. Dn't think it would be correct to assume most of the places at little india would look scary.. might be some but not all. Why dn't you just have a sneak in with your friends to some of the places to have a feel on your own

hey!
Punjabi, Londoner here in Singapore for the first time - gonna be here for a few months - looking for some interesting friends to make the time so much more fun - so if you are the kind of sharaabi kebabi who finds themself prone to screwing in lightbulbs when you are dancing or erupts into spontaneous bouts of singing for no apparent reason or if you long for alloo wale parathe or saag with makki di roti - and you dont mind taking a fun loving stranger under your wing - drop me a mail!
Cheers
Bobby
