hi there, i have stayed in singapore for a year now and contemplating to purchase a property here. can anyone advised on the financing options available to expat?

IF you are not SGer or a PR , you cannot purchase HDB house. Fullstop
If you are looking to purchase a private property NEW, usually the real estate agent will have a banker tagged along or recommended on that particular property. Usually is 20% + stamp fees + miscellanous.
If it is resale, best stop will be the banks. Credit criteria wil depending greatly on your salary earned and the ability to service the mortgage
Go to local bank like DBS for a start. Foreign Bank like StanChart or HSBC can be an option
