part time nanny/cleaner?

Post by primata » Tue, 10 Aug 2010 10:46 am

Is it possible to get a part time nanny/cleaner for a regular gig who doesn't live with you? Where's a good place to start looking? Also, any chance of finding a Mandarin speaker? Many thanks!

I think there are some companies in my links page that offer this service. Center column.

i found a link to glory homemakers in the classifieds section of this website. i called them up and unlike other agencies, they send the same person to you every time. package of 4-6 hs daily, works out to be around $10 per hour. definitely more expensive than getting a full time live-in maid, but a viable option if you can't or don't want to have a live-in helper.
