Getting Broadband Internet for the first time

Hi, folks!

I will be settling down in Singapore next week.

Considering getting home broadband for my HDB flat.

Is it possible to get residential Internet without a fixed phone line or cable service?

Residential typically mean using phone line or a cable but if you meant "at home" then for example mobile broadband is a pretty reasonable option (if you are not a devoted torrent user or such).
