I am currently singapore PR but i would like to apply visa for my sister to come over for sometime (maybe few months).
Any one know if this is possible?

Appreciate for any guidance.

As far as I know only the following people are eligible to apply for LTSVP

For New Visit Pass (long term):
Child of Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Residents
Parents of Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Residents
Spouse of Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Residents
Child on Student Pass

You can apply for a 30 days SVP and if really needed you can try for one extension at the end of 30 days ( the extension may or may not be approved).

Where is your sister from?

To be honest alarm bells would start ringing at the ICA as soon as the application for a LTSVP for a sibling hits their desk.

so it means for sibling cannot apply long term one.
30day visit pass can apply via ICA website?

Bingo! And that's exactly the reason why LTSVP aren't applicable to siblings

Oh i realize there is this EPEC which can be applied via MOM rite? with this one can have sometime to look for job here.

You can ask her to try for EPEC and if MOM feels her qualifications are right she may be granted an EPEC. Then she has to apply for LTSVP using the EPEC.

Please note that grant of EPEC doesn't mean that LTSVP will be granted. There have been cases where EPEC is granted but LTSVP for the EPEC is rejected. You can find them if you read through the forum.

As SF has suggested, the EPEC would be the best approach for your sister to come to Singapore to look for work. If I was able realise exactly the reason your sister want to come to Singapore for a few months, believe the ICA will also.

Play it by the book and don't try any trick the Gahmen and you won't get in their bad books.

To add all to this query. Whatever you do or try to outsmart the Gahmen, don't? They have a 10 year series book which will detect the slightest hint that if you are trying to cheat or lie , your sister will be on the first ticket home via Changi, JB or WTC Ferry> Do it properly and let the system run itself.
