Question regarding Singapore night shift salary?

Hi everybody!

I'm new here from Australia so I'm unfamiliar with the salary and stuff here..

I wanted to ask if people working night shifts in Singapore get a night shift penalty (or higher pay than day shift workers) and approximately how much (life science/microbiology field)?? Cos I'm going to an interview for a night shift job next week and want to get my salary expectation question right..

If you are on the graveyard shift. you will have your salary plus your night allowance. I am not too sure about your industry but in electronic manufacturing it ranges from $10 to $15.00 per night. Work hour is from 11.00 pm to 7.00 am. This is for engineers level. We used to pay $25.00 to $30.00 but it has came down considerably.
On top of that we do pay transport allowance as company buses does not do nights shift transportation as our company size is small.
Transportation can be in two part, bus/trains or cabs fare
