Looking for tennis partner for evening/weekends sessions

Post by golfhan1 » Mon, 02 Aug 2010 3:31 pm

Me and my friend will be working in Singapore from 1st September onwards and are looking for partners for serious tennis practise session. We will usually be available in the evening and on weekends. We have no idea about court rentals/availabilities just yet but hopefully will be able to find some available courts when we arrives. We are USTA lvl 3.5-4 player and can endure long rallies. Anybody interest, please email [email protected] and hopefully we will have opportunity to meet new people and get couple of tennis sessions soon.

Thanks
Golf H.

I am now in Singapore and is renting an aprt ard Stadium MRT with full access tennis and sqush court facilities. Anyone have any interest for a knock, do not hesitate to email me [email protected] or sms me at 8239 0218. I have been playing tennis for a long time in BKK. Just need to keep playing here to keep up with the rhythm.

Milogatt, I had trouble finding a listing of Singapore tennis clubs on TT site you suggested. Maybe I was looking in the wrong place. Was hoping by joining a good club they could help me find level 4 hitting partners. Or is that not the way they do things in Singapore? I'm still planning a potential move and wanted to be near a suitable club if possible.

I found that just putting up a "I want to play tennis please call me" notice at the condo very effective. There are a number of people in the same boat - but haven't done anything about it...

No worries... found a great map of tennis locations at http://www.juump.com/explore-cck?search ... 830#places

This is what I was looking for. There is even some condo locations listed. The ones that are not on the map can be easily added.

Cheers!

Here's another club list, but they may not all have tennis courts: http://www.singaporeexpats.com/resource ... -clubs.htm

But, no condo tennis courts on this listing.
