Birthday Party for 5-year old

Post by kristineUSA » Sat, 31 Jul 2010 5:58 pm

My son is turning 5 soon and I am looking for a good venue to throw a birthday party (should accommodate anywhere from 10-30 kids, both boys and girls). Has anyone had any great experiences? Thanks.

If the number isn't too great, there's a cooking studio in town that caters to birthday parties. They have three large work tables, with each table accomodating 10 people, so 30 kids shouldn't be a problem.

So your son and friends will be having a bake-out as well as being able to take home the cookies and cakes they've baked!

Well I thought of this place because I think kids love playing around with dough, and they get to exercise a bit of creativity, and most of all they have fun!

Cheers

For a 5 year old:

Fidgets
JWT Gym
MyGym (Grace Kids)
Lilliputs
Skygym (Turf City)

Most of the party packages will be for 15 - 20 kids but you can add (and pay) the additional cost. You can also do it in a condo or function room - swimming, games... etc. The two magicians I've seen the most at parties are Captain Dazzle and Funny Baby.

Thank you! Do you or anyone else have any good/bad experience throwing a party for 5-6 year olds at Go Go Bambini?

Go-Go Bambini does a very well run birthday party - but the space is limited and if you are having a birthday party on the weekend most likely there will be another party on at the same time. Personally I think the environment is best suited to 3-4 year olds... when you get twenty 5 - 6 year old boys in that space it can be incredibly confining. That said - my 6 year old says he'd still want to go to a birthday party there - so what do I know? :)
