Where can you get a document scanned?

Post by BigSis » Fri, 30 Jul 2010 7:14 pm

Does anyone know of a shop (east coast area if poss) where I can get a document scanned and then get the shop to email it to me so I can send it on to someone else?

In Tampines I know one near my house. You could just look around in your area. Normally such shops will be in HDB estates where there are a cluster of shops, like near Bedok MRT, Tampines opp to the National library there is a huge cluster of shops.

Or you could go to places like little india, serangoon road there are some internet cybercafe cafes there. There could be lots of similar places in chinatown etc.

Document scanning and printing is not a very profitable business in singapore that you will find near your house especially if you living in a remote condo.

If no tip-top quality required you can always use your digital camera.

You could just drop by my house... get your scanned document... a cup of coffee or tea... and a chance to meet a perhaps kindred soul?

For the future, you might check your office copier. Most are now equipped to scan and email. Plus most new home printers, even, will copy and scan as well.
