Driving Theory Test

Post by FaeLLe » Tue, 27 Jul 2010 3:50 pm

Hi all,

Where can I buy a book that will help me prepare for the test to take which will convert my foreign driving license to a Singapore one.

PS. I am talking about the computerized theory test.
Is there just one test and one session?

I got mine in Borders. Just the one session - but we had a two-month wait for a test date.

Most of the shops have it - supermarkets and some 7-11's. Its name refers to the driving test. Just ask around.

I bet you can get it from all book stores but I specifically got mine from the new Times book store in Suntec, not far from City Hall (near Gap/La Senza and North Face.

Its the Mighty Minds Basic Theory Driving Test 300 Questions and Answers and cost me $7.

Hope that helps.

You can usually find that one near to the checkout lines in the supermarkets as well.

Slightly off topic but . . .
Do you have to surrender your original driving license to get a Singaporean one - or do they let you keep it?

Look for a book with loads of street signs on it. They all do.
And you do get to keep your foreign license. It's not like a citizenship.

ps I just realized that emoticon is called "cool". Indeed, smoking is cool.
It's common sense - if you try to come in before I go out, I can't go out. And you can't come in! Lose-lose!

If you are a student at Comfort (or even if you are not, if you are lucky) (http://www.cdc.com.sg/), you can buy the book from them. I think it is less than 10$ if I am not wrong.

There are some good practice tests at http://itestdriving.com.

The BTT is at http://itestdriving.com/singapore-drivi ... HEORY-TEST.
