pre paid Sim cards

Post by PhuketJim » Tue, 27 Jul 2010 7:32 am

I'll be in Sing for 5 days and would like to have a local number. Wil carry my Thai mobile and have the back up loaded with a Sing Sim... Best deals and where to by near J.W. Marriott?

for five days, all of them are pretty much the same, though m1 reportedly has coverage problems. this shouldn't be an issue if you're lurking the very urbanized spots (in your case, orchard and into sim lim area?). the 7-11's should be selling the sim cards. the plethora of shops in Lucky Plaza would also be selling them. passport required for registration in buying a sim card.

Before I lived in Rawai I lived in Hawai (phonetic in Thai) which also gets a good laugh!

You can also buy from Singtel shops, Starhub shops, etc. I got a pretty cheap deal at Singtel.
