Making the Move

Post by Strong Eagle » Tue, 02 Nov 2004 11:30 am

I'll be in Singapore to live in about two weeks. In reading this board, I've made some observations regarding the things I should consider bringing/shipping, don't know about other things, and I'd appreciate confirmation/comments on any and all.

Vitamins and herbal/natural supplements - very expensive, buy in U.S. and ship.

Shoes - hard to get in large sizes (is size 9 1/2 US considered large?)

I'm going to have suits and shirts made in Singapore, but what about underwear, undershirts and such? Easily obtainable? Jockeys or boxers?

TV's radios, etc - buy in Singapore.

Digital cameras - buy in U.S - cheaper, but what about laptop computers? Can I get adapters for power?

Any other thoughts appreciated.
