Fertility Doctor and Cycle changes after relocating

Post by canadiangal » Tue, 13 Jul 2010 9:58 pm

Hi Ladies,
I am looking for a little help. My husband and I will be relocating to Singapore in the next few months. We would like to have a baby, and are going through the first steps with our fertility doctor; we will need to find a fertility doctor once we arrive in Singapore. Does anyone have a good recommendation of a professional compassionate fertility doctor?
Also, how did relocating affect your cycles? I am worried that I may have irregular cycles after moving and that concieving will become more difficult.
I'd appreciate any advice.

Hi,

I went to a lady called Dr Christine Yap based on a recommendation from a friend that had a successful IVF treatment with her (after trying for 6 years) We had a successful IUI first time with her (3 years trying naturally ,1 unsucessful IUI with another Dr ( Plus her package was about half the price of the previous one. She is very nice, laid back, good sense of humor, doesn't give you any unnecessary drugs/injections/scans etc and unlike the previous I feel she is not out to get every penny she can out of you!!! She is based at Mount E #07-01 Tel:62350678

Good luck x

My cycle shifted by 2.5 days (2 days I guess if you count the time change) when we moved here from Canada. Since I was charting my temperature I caught it right away. We were pregnant on the third month of trying once we got here (11 months total TTC). Good luck!
