best place to live in singapore

we're moving to singapore in Aug 2010, and my husband's office is at clemenceau Avenue what's the best place to stay as we don't intend to have a car. We also have 2 girl and they have a place in chatworth orchard. What's the best place for a family to stay.

the best place is to do a search on this forum. my rule of thumb is to stay nearer to the school than place of work.
