Australian / Western King Size Linen??

Post by Kaela » Tue, 29 Jun 2010 11:02 am

Does anyone know whether you can buy linen for Australian / Western king size beds in Singapore? We want to have an Australian king mattress made here (husband is tall) but as the length is 203cm and Asian kings are only 190cm, I think we may have a problem with linen. Admittedly, I haven't looked for larger sized linen here yet but wanted to put it out there first. Also saw a couple of posts which suggested larger linen can't be bought here although there must be plenty of expats in the same boat so am hoping someone can advise.

Thanks.

We bought our overseas and had them posted over. Friven etc do Kings and super kings, anything bigger is impossible to find.

Peter Reed will send them to Singapore http://www.peterreed.com/ they have emperor size.

If you are having a custom made matress then reduce the thickness instead of the usual 13 inches knock it down to 8, that way you can push the width and ht even further. If you live in a condo check the mattress will fit the service lifts.
