ACCOMODATION NEEDED IN DECEMBER FOR SHORT STAY

Post by Ilovesunnydays » Mon, 28 Jun 2010 8:08 pm

Hi

I plan to visit Singapore with my husband and three young children ( aged 6,3 and 1) for 3 weeks in December and need somewhere to stay. The period of stay may be shorter as we plan to travel within the region but the maximum would be 3 weeks. Apart from the usual hotels and well known Service Apartments, can anyone suggest where I can find suitable accomodation. Somewhere with a pool would be a bonus. There seems to be shared accomodation available but of course with young kids, these won't suit us.

I last lived in Singapore 18 years ago and liked the East Coast area very much but of course a lot has changed since then.

Thanks

apart from the usual hotels and well known Service Apartments, not where but what else you want to stay in? maybe a caravan? or boat house? or log cabin?

for a short period, you are very limited to hotels or sevice apartments.

What dates? You might round up an expat heading home for the holidays over Christmas and be able to live in their place.

We may be flexible within these dates:

Somewhere from about the 8th December through to 31st December. These dates are not yet fixed in any case.

Like I said it is not necessary that we stay for the full period. Would be willing to look at a shorter stay. We'll just travel to a neighbouring country but shall be back in Singapore for another few days before we leave Singapore on or around New Year's day. So we could look at 2 different stays in different places if that's necessary.

Thanks
