Quite similar from the above.

1. Show up daily and look busy when need to.
2. Listen to music and water my plants.
3. Start doing the work two hours before the meeting or before it's due. (This one hasn't changed since school days).
4. Have lunch with different group of colleagues everyday to catch up on what's new.
5. Read the newspaper.
6. Be punctual to important meetings - big or small.
7. Read up and think about things that someday I may do - work or non-work related.

Most importantly, know the facts and have things to show when needed.

Frankly, I dont even know what I am doing. My position say I am suppose to do HR but I do partial finance, a bit of admin stuff, also involve in data entry, advise on some HR matters, often stuck at Sales & Marketing and logistics meetings. Oh I forgot, I run errands too like going to bank, drop the cheques, post out some mails, buy stamps etc etc. Most importantly on top of that, I do technical support like fixing office computers, printers, changing toners and catridges ......So after all that non-sense small little things, whenever i get my free time like for 5mins, I log in to this forum.

What you said! Except that I do them when I get 5 minutes free. The rest of the time I'm logged in to this forum.
