The management interview is usually 2-1. And the difference is stated. It is with the management side of the cabin crew department.
I don't think qualifications hamper your chances at all. It really is the personality that matters here i think.

Hie Hie, am new here. Have been reading this forum for a while. Congrats to those who have made it. Been wanting to give the interview a shot a few times, but havent had the courage. I'm not really that young (24 this year), am rather fleshy but have been working in the Customer Service line for 2 years. Any idea how 'fleshy'is fleshy to them?

i dun think it will harm ur chance at all.. i also only has 6 'O's as my private diploma is also not recognised by them.. during my management, a couple of degree holders also got kicked out... so it really juz depends on u.. anyway, even the basic pay is the same~

anyone any idea whether there is any training batches between 12th july and 30th july.
eveningstar, deenah, wawaa, congratz!!
hi marlboro, nope haven't gotten any call from them yet. i'm wondering if the next batch will be early august too. seems like they call u when it's ~2 weeks be4 the start date?
Hi joyful papaya, I have been waiting for a long long time since my medical on June 2nd and have yet to receive any call too. I'm not sure if it's because I told them I can only start earliest in September? I'm getting a little worried because I have to give 2 months notice if I pass. Oh by the way this is my first entry but I've been reading this forum for a while now. Thanks!

Hey Trinity4656,
Welcome to the forum!
You should try out for it. I tried out for the 1st time this year and I am already 25! I am pretty fleshy too! I think it's all about proportion.

The bond is $30,000 (i think) and it is pro-rated.

Thanks joyful papaya, that is so reassuring. It's hard to concentrate at work when you keep thinking about waiting for the call! Hope you get yours soon. By the way when was your mgt? Mine was 30th May.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.
