But Deenah,

do they come in 'one set'? or u can mix n match top n botom till u find e appropriate size.

so when we choose we should like aim for e tightest n hope they'll look flattering?

u talked abt kerbaya tops. wad about e bottom? isit suppose to coem in 2 same proporationate sizes? isit SKIN/ BUTT tight too? cuz im not really stick thin. i got curves! hahahahaa

cheers,
rika
Mine wasn't lah. I dun have much of butt too. But my kebaya bottom that I chose was damn long so I had to like pull it up all the way to the upper part of my waist and had to fold it twice! This made the slit in the middle go up higher. I was so afraid that I would flash the interviewer. So I kept on walking and placed my hands "demurely" in front of me so that I can hold on to the slit together. :P

They do hang the whole kebaya set on one hangar. But if the top/bottom does not fit, then you can switch it with one top from another set.

I guess choose which flatters ur body the best :) Can't be too tight also lah.

It's a all girls room, so u just grab and try. LOL! maybe u can also take from those who are changing out of it? that way it's easier to judge the size as well. Have fun! they'll wait for you to find your size. dun worry!

i'm really curious if u gurls ever feel insecure amidst so many beautiful girls... and if ur nt those who are really pretty, dunt u feel like an outcast?
i'm sure there are some really beautiful ones that outcast those whom they deemed unfit to be in their clique right?

i'm just curious lah~ haha
Hello Serray,

you're right man! I went for the interviews once and was awed my the number of gorgeous girls there, and I felt very inferior! The whole time I was thinking that I would most certainly be passed over by the interviewers as compared to the girls there, and I guess it was this thinkin g that made me fail the interview. Self-fulfilling prophecy you know!

I felt very ugly and inferior when I was waiting for my turn, and didn't want to talk to anyone cos I was sure that they would not be interested to talk to me. Haha! Says alot about my self-confidence huh!

Anyways, that was many years ago. Whenever I go to Changi Airport to see any off, I would sometimes catch glimpses of some SIA stewardess, but some of them I have seen are not exactly drop dead gorgeous you know! So I would wonder where all the pretty girls whom I saw at the interviews went to. But then again, I would think that it must be the personality of these stewardesses that made them shine through the interviews, so they could become FSS today.

So, as DeeNah said, don't feel inferior and go for it if you want to try out for at the interviews! :D

rurik0 wrote:hmm... i'm thinking like what if i try 20+ times and still din get thru... den almost waste 2yrs? or so... so does it really pay to be so determined? Is there a point whr u shud give up? and will they really be so 'evil' to fail you sooo many times. Each failure is so demoralising..... (am i thinkin too much?) =(
the previous time i was rejected @ the one on one coz the lady said i used too much singlish... =( i really hope i wont leak out any the nx time... i guess i treated her too casually... to ease my nervousness i guess! i really hope i don make any more mistakes.... i feel so demoralised each time T________T

i strongly believe beauty is skin deep... :) there are definitely pretty girls out there who are nice...but i heard of situation opposite from what you just mentioned ,that nice pretty girls can sometimes be outcasted (maybe too strong a word to use,"distant" would be appropriate)... by other girls esp in office setting...because of their outstanding appearance...

Again, in SIA there are sure nice pretty girls as well....*cough**cough*like our autumn, deenah, eveningstar and many more from these forum....not forgetting those who will be going for the upcoming recruitment drive & inspire to make a difference in SIA ya!

haha thanks CelT! *blush* but i assure you i'm not pretty at all. i'm sure Deeenah and Eveningstar are! :D Can't wait to meet everyone in person, it'll be like a deja vu feeling, meeting for the first time but yet having known each other for a long time already :D

Heu autumn,
You got into SIA on your 1st try. There must be something about you :)

I can't wait to start training and meet up with you guys. As I told machi17, it would be great if we could have a small little support system outside our batch mates. It's quite harmful if we hang out with the same people constantly as you get sick and tired of them, which leads to the norm (gossip, politics, backstabbing). So hopefully we can all have a small nice posse! Good luck on monday autumn!

So long as you look youthful and can carry yourself well enough why not? I am 25 this year and they accepted me :)

I asked the interviewers during my mgmt interview, as per my friend's request, on the cut off age and they told me that 26 and 27 is still ok, as long as u still look youthful. =D go ahead and try. =D im 24, not that young too. LOL!
