Highlighted hair will unlikely affect your chances... as long as they are not outlandish...if you do make it, you ll have to adhere to the requirements.

good luck!

Hey oohlala,
i just went for my management interview. i'm 18 :)
There are a few girls who are 18 and got through so no worries ya?
About whether the weighing scale will add weight, mine didn't differ much, more of fluctuations in height. During kebaya round it was 164cm, water confidence became 167.5! lol it should be a good thing :D

haha buzzzybeebee, high five! the increase in height helped lowered my BMI otherwise i'll be in trouble :S

hey oohlala, thanks dear! :D hm.. i'm guessing you need to be 18 years at the time of application. sorry i'm not of much help, think it's better to check with HR or the more senior forumers.

Hey machi17, all the best.
i'm also feeling how nerve-wrecking the wait for medical results is cause there's not much we can do to change our health. Would it be possible to ask HR if you passed medical? at least it'll give you a peace of mind :console:

Can males who are 18-19 years of age but are exempted from NS in such cases where they are PR's or other cases apply for the position of Flight Steward?Or is it advisable for males to be of a higher age?Just curious because on the above mentioned it stated that she was 18 at mgt interview..

Thanks!

hey joyfulpapa, no, until 1pm is excluding medical checkup. The mgmt interview wouldnt take up to 1pm too. My slot was at 10am, but i finished my interview at around 11.30am.

medical checkup will be at shaw and lucky plaza. u have to go for both places. one for regular physical assessment (urine test, blood pressure etc...), one for xray. er, dun empty ur bladder before you go to the first one at shaw. if not... ha! maybe gotta whistle

as for how long..really depends on the number of people. for me i went with 2 other applicants, so we waited for each other. We reached the first clinic at abt 1, Was lunchtime for the clinic at 1-2pm, so we went for our lunch as well. Ended both checks at abt 4+pm.

Might be a little risky to take half day leave, but since ur slot is 8.45, u might make it, but im not too sure :)

hope it helps. good luck for ur mgmt!! when is it? :)

Hey, 845am take halfday should be sufficient, i presume u only need to go back work after lunchtime rite? 1pm, i think they meant the latest time i should end for the last batch of pple bah... Mgmt intv is qt fast, and if you're thinking of minimising the usage of ur annual leave, then maybe u wana rush for the medical check-up after ur mgmt intv?? For me, my office is in town area, so i went for my medical check-up the next day during my lunch time... Yah, medical is at shaw, the office building beside isetan, and x-ray is at lucky plaza...

All the best yah... Cheers!!

hey joyfulpapaya!
thinkerbelle and buzzzybeebee have mentioned most of the things :D my mgmt was also at 8.45, and the checking of doccuments+interview lasted until around 10.15.
after that my friend and i went straight for medical check-up at Orchard and lunch. I reached my workplace at around 2pm :D
