the interviews at the hotel is usually the 1st interview (group), kebaya trying and 2nd interview (1-on-1) with a HR person.
after that will be the water confidence test held on a separate day.
and if you get through all of that, the final round will be the management interview. used to be a tea party. now its 2 interviewers (usually) and you in one room.
all the rounds + waiting time = roughly 2 months.
There is no dress code for the 1st round of the interview but of course you're expected to look presentable and not dressed in your pyjamas.memoriez_ling wrote:Hi all,
Have read thru the past few weeks posts tat u guys posted.
But I still hav so many doubts in me, i hope it's not too late to ask them now
What is the dress code for this 1st round interview? And anything to take note of for this 1st round? like wat kind of make up? I know there are 5 rounds in all, so i supposed it's as following according to "thekness"
1) interview @ the hotel ballroom
2) kebaya trying
3) 1-1 interview wif HR
4) water confidence test
5) final interview wif mgmt

The 1st round is usually a group of ten hopefuls facing I think (if my memory doesn't fail me) 3 interviewers. We each have to make a self introduction.
At least that was how it was when I went last August so I can only remember so much. Hope it helps!
Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.memoriez_ling wrote:Thanks a lot abnegation!abnegation wrote:

but all we need to do is just a self-intro? the interviewers will not ask any questions? if they do, it'll be directed to you or anybody in the group is open to ans? how long will the self-intro need to be? wondering will they cut u halfway thru haha

I vaguely remember that we had to make a self introduction on why we applied for the job and our interests/hobbies. They didn't ask any questions to anyone and did not interupt anyone either. Think it was supposed to be 3 mins.
theknees answered that question earlier. Well, I compare the queue to queuing for Singapore Idol, like I saw on the news.theknees wrote: the management round is the final round.
