just wana share my experience with u all...as what i've mentioned at the previous post,i've passed all the rounds till water-confi test.i managed to go tru the one to one interview but my interviewer was a woman.she's indeed very friendly..a skinny one with long hair.i'm not sure whether to those who failed u are lack of experince or nervous but just one thing-BE PREPARED...this was my 2nd time trying as i failed during my 1st time at singapore where i couldn't perform well as i was lack of preparation.so smile during the interview and answer precisely might do...
during the water-confi test,there's 70 gals and only bout 3 being eliminated.it's the easiest round after all to me..u just have to swim across with backstroke and that's it!no psyco test n skin check..so to those who failed try again alright though the procedure might last for almost a day n tiring...

Just wondering how long what do they ask u on a one-to-one interview?

questions being asked:
1)what do you know about air stewardess
2)what is the two new destination that SIA fly to starting fr the month of
july
3)why do u choose to be an air stewardess as i took marketing course
4) what do i do during my leisure time

the one i failed:
1)what is customer service
2)what is discrimination and how are you going to handle it
3)if you were to choose would you prefer to be a team mates or team leader and how do u handle a lazy mates

so to all those who are trying,be prepared for any questions and know more bout SIA current news n releases...so now i'm pending for mgmt interview n tea party n hope some seniors or those who had passed this round could give me some guidance on this...it's really crucial if fail during the last interview..

Some people fail and some succeed....sometimes it depends on luck as in who interview you..perhaps a friendly and nice person who would like to know u more...as oppose to strict and fierce.....

I knew some of them went to the interview process even up to 6th time and finally got it due to their persistance.....

Well..if this is what you want and desire...dont look at the failure as a set back..instead learn and continue until u get it!!!

Hey, i was just wondering if you were talking about the 70 gals who went for the water confidence test yesterday in concorde? if so, how do you know that 3 of them were eliminated? i thought it would be notified through email? how long does it take for them to let us know? Have they notified you?

hey, i got booted out at the 3rd round 1-1 interview also, guess what? i got the gal interviewer also....and ur right 4 of my friends who get the guy interviewer passed the 3rd round too.....gosh so dissapointed ler, who is your interviewer? which gal? the short hair one or the long hair one? In the first round, 6 out of 10 of us was chosen. baju kebaya test only one was eliminated. I had no idea how they actually choose, cause i was really nervous when i talked about myself and i was really shaking and trembling, my hands was really obvious but it didn't show on my face, but some gurls in my group who was confident and presented well was not selected. They selected 70 gals for water confidence test, alot this time. Normally they would have eliminated alot on the second day, and there is no psycho test on the 2nd day this time, plus there is no skin check ler, heard from my friend who is flying for SIA now, they are taking in alot this time cause its a mass recruitment.

Dont be so sad! Just we are unluckily interview by that gal. My interviewer is short hair one. How abt u? my group baju kebaya test also only one was eliminated. Dont know 1st round u r in which group?

It depends on what notice period u have stated on the form. They'll 1st notifiy those with the shorter notice period, so that they can start the training 1st. So what notice period u have stated?

ya i was talking bout the 70 gals on monday undergo water-confi test.as i finished,the lady asked my name and put ''QUERY'' beside my name n most of the name has the same word as mine...so i just walked off.suddenly there's a man asking the lady how many will go tru the last interview and the lady said-''70 minus 3= 67...so i guess there's about 67 or 66 finalists..hehe
