Thank you! Did you take your executive shots at a photographer who provides a makeover session as well? Many shops I enquired at needed about 7 days for the photos to be ready, and the packages that come with basic make-up and hairstyling are rather costly. But I guess I'd end up paying for a package...
u can always negotiate with the photographers for less photos. anyways try not to go to bridal studios, more expensive and sometimes they touch up ALOT! haha... well good luck!
Hey BlancD,
Waasup with that dude??!!
Its a fact that the bridal studio i went to didnt do much touch ups. And over here, if there isnt any need for make ups and dress ups, the cost is actually relatively minimal.
Well, like i said, im juz trying to help whoever has asked for opinions. So will u please don't try to mislead them this way. Haha.. *sighz*
actually i hesistated but giving my opinon at the same time k ta ge? lolx...
dont worry lindy, u can just ignore me lolx...just do whatever it seems right to you! at the end of the day, i'm sure it is being yourself that counts!

Having a diploma is just a gauge to your educational standards. Be it pte or government. Being a FA does not requires you to have any certain degree or qualifications from a certain area of specialisation. The citerias are set by the company itself. Other professions from engineers to artist can be FAs. What matters is that you've got what it takes. How you portray yourself is more important then what qualifications you carry in your file. Many O levels holders are FAs just for your info. They have what it takes to become an FA. I hope that answers your doubt. You never know how much you fare until you actually had the interview. Just go try, you'll be surprise what you will experience. Life still have to go on even if you do not qualify to be a FA. The world is just so wide, there are tonnes of opportunities for you to explore. Good luck.

As far as I know SIA doesn't accept private diplomas, this was mentioned by another poster but I don't remember who.

its stated in the latest advertisment that they want local diplomas and i believe SIA is very stringent when it comes to qualifications
At least 2 GCE ‘A’-level credits and 2 ‘O’-level credits including General Paper in the GCE ‘A’-level examination; or a Diploma from a local Polytechnic.

Hi plavt,
sq do accept pte diploma too. I believe its on a case by case basics. Like i've said if you got what it takes,sq will want you no matter whether u're holding a pte or local diploma. I've personally known a few FAs with pte diplomas.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.
