Somebody in this forum was recently refused employment because she had only 'O' levels. The current requirements for Malaysians are on the website;

hi nicky,

ya they are right. from the last intake, yes they do accept people with 5 Os credit with some work years experience. i have no idea will this still be the same for the next intake, but having a diploma is an assured thing. if you have 5 Os and work experience, u might wan to giv it a try?

all the best

Emirates Global Assessment Day

Post by coolshadow » Wed, 16 Aug 2006 6:28 am

Hey Greenlife,

The Open Day for Emirates is on the 26th of Aug. I guess it should be for both guys and girls as only cabin crew was stated and not any particular gender. :)

As for the Global Assessment Day, its on the 2nd of September. I hope you have registered for that as they have closed the application and removed the link since about a week ago.

If you have got msn, you can add me so its easier for us to communicate. [email protected]. Anyone else wanting to expand your network for fellow friends having this same interest are definitely most welcome to join in as well.

Dear CoolShadow,

Thanks for your prompt reply and info regards Emirates.

I din't register thru their website..in this case, shall I attend the open day on 26th august?
Heard their interviews process is different with SIA. No group interview during the first day...only height measurement and submit necessary document?

Mind to ask, are u the crew currently? Do you know what document required for the first day? thanks in advance.

I added you in my MSN but din't see u on line so far...

Thanks a lot and hope to hear from you soon.
:D

Hello, interview process seems the same as per the previous posts in this forum. Anyway, however they have changed it, if thats what you really wanna do, then you have to go through it still, right? :) And nope, im not a crew as yet.

I guess what is needed is just your CV, a full length and passport sized photo and yourself to be present on that day. I strongly encourage you to take the opportunity to go down for this open day, it could be a door opener for your interview actually.

Hi,

We need to submit softcopies of the required photographs at the emirates site ya? In the e- application form, I was prompted to upload the photographs before I can click on "Submit".

Actually I've asked this question twice, once in the "Emirates" thread and once here. But there has been no answer so far, acks. Should we continue this discussion to the relevant thread since this is the "SIA" one?
