Btw they looking for o level or a level?
SIA was accepting applicants with lower qualifications than they normal for people with relevant experience but this was for an unspecified temporary period only.

Thx in advance
Its invaluable experience! You will be trained. Believe me, you will adapt to the culture unless you are not a flexible and cannot take any critism. Remember, its not a glamorous job. Its a good job and as you know SIA is one of the world best airlines, its required for us to maintain the image. All thos stories about bitching are all the past...SIA cabin crew are well respected people. You will enjoy all the benefits and the lifestyle as a cabin crew with SIA..Trust me.

hmmm... i am just guessing that the next recruitment will be email thingy cos the recent one in malaysia was thru email. so i suppose the next one in sg will be email too.

and maybe cos now they might not be in need to cabin crews ba... since they already recruited a lot of crews from the feb and april walk-in.
and now that MAS is retrenching a lot a lot of cabin crews, and SIA loves malaysians as their cabin crews, plus the crew from MAS will have experiences as stewardess, i guess during this recent recruitment in malaysia, SIA would take in a lot more crews than usual..

that is just my personal opinion la... no offences to anyone. of course i hope that SIA will do the recruitment in sg soon, but i guess it will be in
july ba...

hi hiro,

Dun worry. heard from my trainer that SIA really need lots and lots of crews..even 2 trainers ( CS & LS. ) said that they are in need of so much crews....beside that those existin crews' schedules are so packed that they have to cancel their leaves ...to all FS/ FSS wannabes they will be havin the sg recruitment real soon...rumor said that the next recruitment will start nxt week....

must not give up and keep tryin ok!!!! :D

Hi there, everyone! Anyone out there can notify me when United are having the next recruitment in Singapore. I last went for their interview on 1 April 2006. I think about 6 months later but if you know otherwise, please let me know. Thanks! :)

Hey there,
Lookout for the advert in this weekend's straits times. SIA will be advertising this weekend and next weekend will be the walk-in. Good luck to all those who are trying for the walk-in. It will be a great opportunity and remember to be there early because once you are cleared early, the subsequent rounds of interview will be carried out relatively fast as well.

Educational Qualifications:

Singaporean - A minimum of 2 GCE A-level credits and 2 AO-level credits including General Paper, or a Diploma from a local polytechnic. GCE O-level holders with at least 5 credits including English, and relevant working experience may also apply.

Cheers

Hey karen,
I happened to know it from a friend of mine. Do prep yourself and give your best at the interview. The best thing is complete your diploma education, okay?
