If I'm not mistaken, it's 35, unless with a leading ranking.

I cannot be certain but I don't think there is any stipulated retirement age for stewardesses. On one of my last flights in 2004 at least of the LSS's had been with the company for 16 years.

Like I mentioned, unless with leading ranking. What I heard is that they can't remain as FSS at 35.

Sorry, I didn't read what you wrote as thoroughly as I should have. Although I haven't heard that mentioned before as regards SIA but certainly have in respect of MAS.

2nd round of interview

Post by biscotti_girl » Mon, 15 May 2006 8:49 pm

To all who are going for SQ interview tml or the day after.. all the best to ya.. just wanna share some tips to u mates. Remember to knock on the door before you step into the room. When you see the interviewer, please greet them. I know it sound 'duh' but many of us often forgot. trust me, these 2 'to do thingys' will definately impress the interviewer. When the interviewer ask ya some questions, please 'Think or Ponder' for at least 3 seconds before you answer. Do not make it though U r memorising from some '1001 on How to Pass SIA Interview Manual'.

Also, Do some reearch before presenting urself tml (or the day after). If possible, try to impress the interviewer that U had done some homework on the organization. Last but not least, do not look forlorn or disturbed.. Smiles ur way through! All the best and Cheerios! :)

Also it seems like SIA allocated timing for all the girls on tuesday. So i guess the interviewers are really prepared for us.

Any advice on attire, makeup and pedi/medicure? Thanks!!
they can only work for 25 years max.

Hi Oceanmist.. anytime! All the best to u... btw, when is your interview? Tml or the day after?

Someone asked about the Kebaya thingy.. There are 2 interviewers inspecting ya. 1 is from nonethelss, SIA and the other one is a beautician from Lancome. Sometime, there would be more than 1 SIA interviewer. Hope this helps! Cheers

Hello ppl,

managed to clear round 2. The interviewer was really nice~ She made me feel very comfy, it was more like a chit-chat session kinda thing.

For those going tomorrow, just relax~ and remember to smile alot too!

Hah i'll be meeting my doom next Tuesday, round 3!~

Plavt, singaporegrrl and prince, thanks for the advice.

biscotti_girl, your advice was great!!! i got through to the 3rd round.

oceanmist, congrats. i'm in the 1445 timeslot. Saw quite a number who made it to the 3rd round after my group.

But the interviewer kept pricking on my slight asthma during the interview. my childhood asthma recurred for a few weeks last year. After that its been normal and doctors didn't refrain me from any activities.

Just to ask all again, any issues on my slight asthma which has not been recurring since last year.

for the kebaya round, would the lancome beautician inspect al our body skin or just the back, collarbone and hand which i heard from friends...

Thanks!!!
