Do they look at your BMI or your build during the catwalk round ?
your healthy physique is what they see you 1st as a person in the 1st place. a toned body is the key. not to flabby arms and legs. no stretch marks, no scars unless covered with the kebayas. and take care of your heels... remove dead skin.. go for manicure and pedicure and facial if you want.
Walk with grace as you catwalk. don't 'same foot same hand'. Head up. Most important is walk confidently. Do you see SIA girls walks with their heads down? No right.

same meaning as a marriage cert. above 21 of sound mind witness can be your parents' or friends' or one of the company employee-in-charge.

it's recentlyjust over. april 2 is the closing date. try next time.
Prepare a cover letter, recent IC photo and full-length photo, and the application form post online. complete them and email them or by mail.
when to call up for interview depending on whether you receive an interview email from SIA HR.

Hi,
If i'm not wrong, the bond is 16mths (4 mths training, 1 year flying). There is a concurrent 5-year contract; if u work til end of 5 year, u'll get a gratuity. That applies for stewardesses only; stewards dun apply...

A bond means u're tied down by the job; u can't quit during that period. If u resign within that period, u'll have to pay the bond amt. Btw, SIA will want u to have a guarantor when u sign the bond.
As for contract of 5 years (inclusive of the bond period), u can resign even within the 5 years (BUT only after the bond). However if u complete the 5-year contract, SIA will give u an amt of $$ (gratuity)...it will also depend on them (and also ur performance) if they wana renew ur contract or not. If so, it'll be another 5-year contract.. hope that helps...

How obvious is ur scar? Try to hide it with a concealer if possible. Since u're at this stage, just go ahead and give it a try ya? Dun worry too much.... =)

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

SIA Crew

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
