Good luck.

omg!!juz heard from a friend of mine who juz went for the SIA swimming confidence and uniform fitting. 60 ppls attended Round 3 and only 17 ppls manage to proceed to Round 4 which is the mgmt interview. omg.. the elimination rate was super duber high .

..cant believe it...

sorry , i forgot to quote the swimming confidence and uniform fitting was conducted today...

..quite scary for the elimination rate
Hi there,
i am not surprised to hear that only 17 pax got into the management round. I believe that the management round will also be another killer stage where they will slash 50% candidates off.
All the best and good luck everyone!

i must say that the recruiters did not select candidates totally based on the looks. I believe they also look into your personality, work experience, your X factor and the way you present yourself. So i guess that even if these 11 girls who manage to get to the management stage are not very pretty, they must have "something" thats why they are in...
Just my thoughts.

So they will eliminate those girls during the mgtment interview on the spot or have to wait for reply from the SQ after days/weeks?my friend went for the mgtment interview last week but she said she had yet receive any news whether she's selected. Is it possible or will SQ inform if not selected?

they will be eliminated on the spot. management interview normally r held in groups of 12. after you come out from your interview, the admin girl will go in and come out with the result of your interview on the spot. those who get through will stay for the tea party.

the girls who successfully went through round 3 were all lacking the cabin crew look and most of them were the least expected to get in among the whole batch....really do not know what the interviewers are looking out for

How did it go for the guys? Heard it's not as stringent as the girls but I heard 4 guys were eliminated today for round 3 &4.

Like they say, don't judge the book by it's cover. Cabin crew do not have a certain look. That is stereotyping. And stereotyping won't get you anywhere near to becoming a cabin crew as well.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
