well said. success doesnt come sweet w/o hard work, dun expect answers for granted, find your answers and you will gain more than you lose, coz along the way u find even more information abt your interest..=) I admit i was the dumb ger before as i am nonetheless the same that time, but some good advisers here slap me literally on the face when i read the posts.singaporegrrl wrote:I believe that sometimes we have to accept sarcastic critisms. I mean if in another way, it is an advice, then why not? Sometimes sarcasm gets into our brain better then normal-toned advices, but those who are hard-headed can't accept them. To think of it, if we can't accept painful facts, how are we to handle some cases onboard with passengers who are being fussy when we know it's not our fault at all? And what about some zapping seniors? Are you going to say, "It's not my fault okay! Why are you scolding me?" Of course not. In turn, sarcasms test our patience and patience is something we really need when we join the inflight crew.
Well common sense is another thing we ought to have, unlike some posters here who asked about SQ's HR email address, etc. All this requires own innitiatives coz if one is lazy to just click on relevant buttons on the website, then he/she will have trouble onboard. Like I've mentioned many times, internet can do wonders. We have the advantage of Yahoo! and Google at the tip of our fingers. Don't take this for granted. I'm not pointing anyone. In turn, I'm advising myself as well. My apologies if anything that I've said offended anyone.
