This is life and death.. the 1st instincts would be that of "to each his own" People will only bother to watch their own backs and fight for their last chance of survival.
In situations like this.. .it is usually the passengers who have the least knowledge of survival in a plane crash unlike our very well-trained FAs and pilots.

Looks like your in for a long night. I suggest if you can have a look at the aircraft before they leave the departure gate.Menaquinone wrote:This is life and death.. the 1st instincts would be that of "to each his own" People will only bother to watch their own backs and fight for their last chance of survival.

Can't the last ans be considered passable in its own right?Plavt wrote:Looks like your in for a long night. All right, all right I am almost going to give you the answer - the ermency exits, what do you know about them - very very simple.

In a way I agree but sometimes it do reflect back to me that if you're fated for the job, more or less it's for your taking within the first few attempts? If not, it's gonna take a drag through the desert sand to accomplish that dream of many?mahalo21 wrote:Hi all,
from e posts i've seen, only 33 gals n 35 guys made it to e mgt rd n a few more will b cut there. What i can is, airline interviews are very 'wierd' n different from normal job interviews. Even if yr rejected, most of e times u'll be thinking 'Wat's wrong with me?" but dun put yourself down cos this is how it works. As many have noticed, those tt speak well, well-groomed got cut during e 1st rd n maybe some who din do too well, dress shabbily got in instead. This ALWAYS happens! SO wat i wana say is, dun give up n keep trying cos this is very much a LUCK thing as well.
As long as e interviewer likes u, even if u may hv flaws, they wil still put u through n vice versa, if u have all it takes but if they dun like what they see, den too bad. This is it. I've been trying so many times for this n everytime i get cut during e first rd, i feel a sense of rejection n feel upset but i've learnt not to take it too hard cos there r pp who get e job on their first try n those tt hv tried many times but never got thru to e mockup plane b4.
Jus keep on trying n try to improve n do yr best each time u present yrself. One day we'll make it. Think of this: hundreds get shortlisted but look at wat happened, only 30+ get to e mgt rd, it is not easy at all. This has been a dream since young n i duno how long i'll take to make dis dream come true, but as long as im still alive, i'll keep trying til i get e job.
Nevertheless, keep that dream alive for all out there. As long as you meet the minimum requirements and of eligible age, keep on trying as you never know how the book gonna end eh?

Dear all,
There were 38 gals who got through the kebaya test yesterday. I was among the 38 of them. 2 went home cos they forgot their swim suit and will come back on another day. Now left 36 people left for the swimming test. 3 gals failed during the swimming test. And unfortunately, i was among the 3 who failed. I was rather disappointed that i flunked at this stage where i did not know what was wrong with me. Sigh. I did not panic or hesitate and swam backstroke. Well, maybe its luck.
Well, maybe i will try again. After all, this is my 1st try. Hope i won;t have to go thru so many tries. Hahaha. I will like to thanks jeryln and phylicia for alll your encouragement sms. I am touched!
For all the others who got through. Congratulations!! And Gambatte!!

I got kicked out in the first round. Don't know their reasons though. If only they would tell- it wouldn't hurt, really. It was raining so heavily, which kind of described my feelings as I left the interview venue. (a Drama mama moment.)
Sat down and spent some time pondering. A good presentation of self not only is basic courtesy for others, it shows your sincerity. Most of us had met the minimum to be shortlisted, but i think they were looking for more, perhaps the "stuff" you are made of.
So don't give up if you are serious abt this.

Anyone can provide tips on how to bun up the hair?
If you do not know how to bun your hair, the easiest way is to buy those bands that can bun up your hair easlier! IT's in a plastic form that you can twist your hair up easily! Can buy from all major deptmental stores and also hair clips shops. Hope this helps!
Best Regards and good luck!

Those who had make it this far but did not make it to the management round, I can't say that I understand how you feels are I have not been to that stage yet but I'm definately hungry for it! But, it's not the end yet. It's just to better prepare you for the next challenge! Dun be despair or dishearted or even feel rejected and affect your confidence level as it's not that you are not good. It's just that this time there are better choices for them. Jia you ok! And we will all strive to do better for the next round kk!
