Hi there. Would like to ask if anyone who did scoliosis corrective surgery (spinal fusion) got into SIA cabin crew? Should I declare during my medical check up or should I not?

I would sincerely hope you declare it. If there is any limitation on movement and in an aircraft emergency, such inability could, in theory, cause the dead of many people in an emergency.

Hello! Thank you so much :)

There were 4 rounds! After registering, we were seated in the auditorium where they’ll check if you’ve filled up the app form + your ART result. After that, we were being called out to check our height before moving into another theatre. I waited for about 30 mins before they called me and 5 others for the debate round, 3v3. During debate, they’ll get you to take off your mask for a while for them to see your face, then put it back on.

After the debate round, they got us to wait in another holding room. My group was called out about 20-30 mins later, and was told only 4 out 6 in my group made it to the mgmt round.

Mgmt round was 2v1, however they didn’t ask me a lot of qns (I only spent 5 mins inside). They’ll also ask you to take off your mask for a while.

After that was done, I waited for 10 mins till my name got called for the kebaya round (I was so so scared by then 😭) after changing into the kebaya, the lady told me to stand at a corner to take off my mask once more, and I had to give my widest smile 😂 then I put my mask back on.

After checking my weight afterwards, I was told to gain a little, but it wasn’t rly an area of concern. She checked my arms thoroughly, and my face + neckline (including my back). She didn’t tell me to catwalk tho, but she checked my legs, knee-down before telling me to change back.

After changing back, I waited for another 5-10 mins till my name got called out for the documents! And medical is quite fast, so I’m so nervous now 😭

There were a lot of guys this time round though. Managed to make friends while waiting which was nice haha! All the best to everyone attending the interview this weekend <3

i think they could tell i wasn’t ready for the job! the room i went to had interviewers that weren’t friendly, they asked a lot of aggressive questions? and i think i answered okay-ish but could have done btr haha
