Sending positive vibes to all! Hoping all of you are doing well and that Covid-19 ends soon so that we can all be back in the skies

Re: SIA cabin crew
I have two daughters who have just finished their training, the oldest is a "recently graduated" ATPL MCC pilot with 750 flight hours, and the youngest is a Cabin Crew. They both have a fairly high level of English.
In Spain things are quite bad, and they are considering expatriation
What do you recommend for them? Country? company?

Definitely not S.E.Asia at the moment. Most off the airlines are still shedding staff due to the vast majority of planes grounded.

I will say the situation seems to be looking up… with more VTL relationships being established flights seem to be increasing in frequency.sundaymorningstaple wrote: ↑Sun, 09 Jan 2022 10:20 pmDefinitely not S.E.Asia at the moment. Re: SIA cabin crew
Yeah, but they have surplus crews due to the number of mothballed aircraft still sitting. Until they get all their routes up and running, they will have more than enough crews waiting on the ground already. And, to make matters worse, I doubt, with current seating capacities reduced, needed flight cabin crews will probably be reduced as well and fares wont support full crews, etc.
