from what I know, this is the site for work permit for the public. click Enquire on the left tab and input your particulars accordingly. hope it helps!

just fyi, work permit application and issuance typically takes no more than 3-4 weeks if the person goes for medical immediately upon successful application. once medical report received (my old company used to receive Fullerton’s reports within 3-5 days unless there’s retests) then company will proceed with issuance. issuance of wp will take a few days. only upon approval, you will be required to go to MOM for thumbprint etc. it will be a few more days after that the company will receive wp card.

that is standard wp application procedure from what i understand. maybe SIA do differently that’s why take 3 months :-k don’t lose hope!
I just submitted my documents in PDF for work permit. I’ve been waiting since June tho :???:

Hi, i also went for the interview on 29th sept and medical checkup on the 3rd. Totally regretting that i stated my availability was to be notified 1 week in advance, should have said immediate! Filled with dread whenever i check my letterbox, i heard that if they reject you, the letter will be received within 2 weeks. I have no idea how long the wait is before they call you/email you. I am Singaporean and did not declare anything for medical, the doctor at the clinic said nothing seems wrong with my abdomen, spine, chest, breasts, eyesight nor colour vision. I asked the clinic nurse, and she said those people with scoliosis will be asked to go for 2nd x ray on the same day as the medical checkup, and if the clinic requires you to come back for further testing, they will call us. Keeping my fingers crossed, super anxious! I want to leave my job asap hahah.

Hi people,

can i check with you guys, will SIA not send out rejection letter? like will they not even tell you that you're rejected? and also,
What's the longest wait possible? Im Singaporean, I put my notice period at one month.
I did the interview on the 8th Sept, 10th Sept medical.
The people I went medical with got a date to sign the contract already. But I still got no news, no replies. Even after sending an email to them last week, inquiring about the status.
can anyone advise on this :/

Dont worry too much.
My call came around the 3rd week after medical. :)
They will send you an official email with the contract details after to arrange for the official signing of contract.

Dont overthink for now. You'll learn to cope with it as each day passes by. :)

My indicated availability was 3 months and I recieved the call within 3 weeks after medical.
Checked my letter box every other day too. Haha
