Did your friend got into training aldy?

They ask her to go on end of Oct not sure which date already Ive forgotten. So we can barely see the timeline not sure correct or not. Mid of June submit doc. then mid of Aug apply permit. (The permit normally takes 3 weeks only) So maybe permit approved around mid of Sept. And they inform her about training at the end of Sept.

Thanks!

Hi there,
Anyone knows what's the maximum age for female cabin crew applicants?

Does anyone happen to encounter/know any female (without any flying experience) age 31-32, whom successfully cleared all rounds including management rounds at either Singapore or Malaysia walk in this year itself ?

hey guys

just wanted to share in case you have queries about kiv and whether you are allowed extension.

i went for the interview on 23/6, passed all rounds but was kiv for a burn scar I have on my arm. they dropped me an email two months later; some time end of aug but i was still undergoing treatment, so i requested to push back my review and they allowed an extension of another two months. they said they can only allow another two months. i have been increasing the frequencies of my treatment in hopes that the improvement is significant enough for them by end oct. i’m practically pouring money on my scars T_T

oh! thought i might add:
odd scenario during interview day. there wasn’t much candidates in the afternoon as i came at 1pm. two girls incl myself cleared the first round. both of us waited for 20mins+ for the remaining 6 chairs to be taken up for round two debate. however after about 30-45mins, there was only another girl that joined us. so the interviewers for that round called us in and as he brought us to the room, he said “i’m sure you guys are bored of waiting. i’m bored too so let’s talk.” So for that particular round, we had no debate but three of us vs two interviewers were more like chatting imo- asked typical questions and we took turns to answer. we were asked about 3-5 questions and that was it.

all three of us passed. but sad that when I came out of mgmt round and went to try the kebaya, I lost sight of the two other girls. :(

sorry for the long msg hehe

https://wponline.mom.gov.sg/WPOLLoginCo ... OLNonLogin

from what I know, this is the site for work permit for the public. click Enquire on the left tab and input your particulars accordingly. hope it helps!

just fyi, work permit application and issuance typically takes no more than 3-4 weeks if the person goes for medical immediately upon successful application. once medical report received (my old company used to receive Fullerton’s reports within 3-5 days unless there’s retests) then company will proceed with issuance. issuance of wp will take a few days. only upon approval, you will be required to go to MOM for thumbprint etc. it will be a few more days after that the company will receive wp card.

that is standard wp application procedure from what i understand. maybe SIA do differently that’s why take 3 months :-k don’t lose hope!
