May i ask if you all know of anyone who got in SIA with D7 for olevel eng??

Cause i’m currently at skin check& kebaya fitting round but i got KIV because of my braces. So i don’t know if i got chance or is it just false hope.
It will be good if you could clarify with them before you left on your KIV period with regards to your teeth situation.

There's an upcoming walk-in session on 29th Sep 18 so you may want to try enquire there since you've cleared the management round during your last session.

When was your last interview held? Another perspective would be that you've not recieved any rejection letter so I guess there's still hope.

If i may asked, is that your highest qualification?

I went for my interview on 28Jan2018.
But i got in through online application, so i was wondering they should have seen my certificates before they accept me to proceed for interview.. :( so maybe i will have hope??

Well, if I were to be in your position, I'd go for the upcoming interview again to enquire and clarify if its necessary to sit through another session since you've been waiting for awhile now.

If the interviewer told you that you will be KIV because of your braces, they would have asked you when you will remove the braces. Also, you would have already stated in the application form that you are wearing braces and the date of removal. As such, based on the date/month you told them, they will kiv you until then. After the date of removal of braces you reported, they will email you to ask if you are ready for a review. Hence from now till the date you reported, there’s nothing you can do

Heyya Weixian,

No I won’t. I’ve not received any email. Work permit application still pending.

What’s the status with you ?

Working visas not renewed

I understand that cabin crew from certain countries are unable to have their working visas renewed. No reason was given by the Ministry of Manpower for the refusal to renew existing crew's working visas. I do not know how many of the foreign crew are affected. Some new recruits also had their application of visas rejected. This action by MOM is unprecedented and it has come at a time when the airline is expanding and need more crew.
