I believe if you state you're available on november they should call you probably two months ago for the training date. 4 months is quite long for me. Did you ever emailed to them to ask for your status?
Hey! Do you have any pending documents? :) If so, they will email you one month before/after your availability. But if you don't, you should email/call them to check about your application because they may have tried to reach you but they can't read your handwriting on your application form for your address/email/phone number. That's what happen to my friend! So call them ASAP if you don't have pending documents, cos they only hold every application forms for only 6 months. :)
Hey cl0udz! Yeah i do have pending documents! So what do you advice me to do? Should i wait a while more or should i email or call them? :(
I pm-ed you! :)

Tedyuntianhu wrote:Hi there! Anyone from the 21 May interviews still awaiting for their confirmation?

I'm an NSF awaiting to ORD, and was graded PES E1L9. Recently got my PES upgraded to B1L1, but unsure if I've to update SIA/Mary.

Anyone have an idea what I should do?

I've a group chat of about 15 pax; all have gotten their training dates. Anyone keen to join, kindly pm me! :)
Hey Tedy! So during the medical check up you declared that you were E1L9? When you upgraded your PES, did you update them? Cause my current PES is C so i don't know if i should get it upgraded before the interview and medical checkup! Thank you :D
Hi Dean, sorry for the late reply as I'm no longer that active on the forums.

1. So during the medical check up you declared that you were E1L9?

Yes, apparently from what i know is that you have to be very upfront with your health issues and PES Status (for guys serving/served NS). Not only will you have to fill in your PES Status for the interview form, but also for a separate form that you would be requested to fill for the next day management round if you do make it through to day 2.

2. When you upgraded your PES, did you update them? Cause my current PES is C so i don't know if i should get it upgraded before the interview and medical checkup!

Yes i did update them. You would be given an email that you can contact with regards to your queries after the first day interviews. On a personal note, i would recommend you to go for the interview with your current PES Status. I have friends that did not upgrade their PES (with an E), and still got in. In my personal opinion, it's because when you do go for the medical assessment, the doctor would ask what is your PES Status during NS, and why (dont lie about it). If he deems you are fit for flying as a cabin crew, you're good to go. So dont be overly "kiasu" like me and upgrade your PES. Lol...

For all NSFs who applied for the CC position and still pending confirmation, please note that the email stating to submit your documents would only come 2 weeks before your ORD date, or may extend to about 2 weeks after your ORD; depending on the training dates that are available for you.

All the best guys!

Hey! I am not sure what kind of pending documents cause i actually submit everything during the final interview.. Not sure is it okay or not. I just did my medical check up on last Monday and i only waited for 1 week (coming to the 2nd week on this week). Worried about the medical check up because i got flat foot problem. Are you currently started flying?? How long is your waiting time since medical check up and do you have any issues with your check up?
Hey! Haha the pending docs etc one was meant for threeconcepteyes! But you only completed your medical last week right? Don't worry too much :) I don't think flat foot is a problem too... what's more, they will only contact you a month+ later if you get in, cos i guess they have to sort out training dates? Haha the wait is a killer but be patient and don't worry :)
Thanks so much! I thought it meant for me lol. Hopefully they will contact me faster than that lol!!! What I can do now is just pray and hope that i cleared my medical check up!! Anyway thanks so much for your advice :)
Haha hello Cloudz & dada,

You have to wait patiently! I waited like, 5 months in total? I know the wait sucks, but the gist of it is that you just have to wait it out. Unless you've waited past your available date (give or take about 2 weeks), then it's advisable to drop the HR an email. Occupy yourself with things to do, start exercising, or kickstart your beauty regime. I'm sure youll get in!

3CE,

Prior to submitting your remaining documents, the HR would liaise with you about 2 weeks before your stated available date. If you are within that range or have waited past it, then its advisable to drop the HR an email.

Hey azztip!

When did U complete the online interview ? Nope, cannot really find people that did the online application.
Hey~~ I completed it on 27 October! probably they have tons of videos to watch, haha shall just wait patiently, hopefully receive their email soon! this online application seems new though, not really sure what to expect!
Hello!

I applied via their online application too! Don't have much hopes because I kept stuttering during the video interview :-( But do keep us updated if they get back to any of you for their 13th November interview! Good luck to all of us! :D

Thanks Tedyuntianhu, thanks for your advice! 5 months is a long wait, during that time you waited 5 months after you did your medical check up to receive the golden call? maybe I am just worried too much due to the medical check up! My available date is immediate, thats right, keep exercising since i am not fit enough! Thanks a lot!!

Hi Dada,

It is! And it was only when i did get the confirmation and batch number did i realise all that waiting and panicking was for nothing and that i could have done something more constructive with the time. By after a months' wait from your medicals if you dont receive anything via mail (to your house), you should be fine already. Just wait for the HR to liaise with you. All the best!

Hi! I stuttered quite abit also. Because it is like speaking to no one and with no facial expression to react to, it is just weird to keep blubbering on. Do keep us updated too!

Hi there Camieler,

From what i know, anything below a 20 degrees scoliosis is still acceptable by SIA. With that, the Medical Professionals will be the judge to that whether you are fit for flying. Being a mom will definitely lower your chances, but it does not mean you will be turned down based on that. When did you go for the interview?

Hi tedyuntianhu,
I am Malaysian candidate, just took the interview on 22nd of October 2016.
I feel better now after your reply. Thanks a lot.
But still is there anyone who is a mom already and succeed to join SIA?

Hi Camie,

Yes there are mom's who made it through and are cabin crew. If you made it through to medicals then there's nothing you should be worrying about. Stop stressing yourself out ok :) you went for the interview and I'm sure you tried your best already. All the best!!
