Huge turnout. Even heard one of the lady working with SIA saying it was a great turnout today. I am from one of the last few groups and the total applicants? 1024.

Does anyone know if they'll accept people who wear invisalign? As for braces I heard it's better to go for the interview after you get them removed?

llchristinall wrote:Is there an age cap for SIA stewardess applicants?
I'm currently taking my bachelor's degree in International Business, and I don't graduate until 22 years old.
I may pursue a masters in Human Organizational Development..and that would bring me up to 23 years of age.
The thing is that SIAs Cabin crew is extremely reputable for the quality of their service, and I'd really find it a great opportunity to learn and grow.
Im also wondering how different the quality in training Cabin crew workers vs. Ground crew workers are.
If I were to work for SIA as a Stewardess, are there any negative issues and problems I should take note of and consider first? Also, how long would the minimum contract be for a stewardess?
Any advice or other job suggestions?
Thanks

Min bond is 18 months... 23 years old u still can consider to join

Hi Robindoo, I went for the interview too. Was in group 92 and got booted out at skin check too but I'm very determined to go for the next one. Let's keep in touch!

Made it to management today and got kicked out. Really surprise. I followed everything according to all the manuals but im kinda thinking its coz they asked me what improvement needs to be done for service. I should have said it was outstanding but instead I said that air stewardess shouldn't be giving nasty looks to pax coz that was what happened to my sister when she was travelling with me. argh.

Is management 2 to 1 today? Cause they swap the stages for the previous round..

It depends, I was kicked out during skin check twice. As long you have no scars or serious pimples issues than you are fine.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

SIA Crew

First post
Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
