Couldn't agree more!
Sometimes they even ask some candidates to take a short English course to get qualified, so they do think about the people they really like!

[quote="sstan123"]Don't worry too much even if SQ has not call you. They are very short of crew and it will be a matter of time before they'll call you. The delay could also be due to the lack of staff handling your applications.

How do you know they are lack of crew? =)

Hey Bellascritto, did you state in your form that you will need one/two months' notice from work? August is so far away!

Veevalavida: IKR. No, in fact my availability was immediate. My guesses are they are prioritizing the January and match batch of girls. Cos from what I understand, a handful of them were KIV so the HR probably slot them first.
Have you gotten your training date?

Did she mention why she got rejected? So sad. I'm still waiting for my phone call. It has been 3 weeks!

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

SIA Crew

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
