Silk Air has a recruitment drive on the 02/02, next Saturday. Has anyone tried Silk Air before? This will be my first CC walk-in.

i would also think that it's march. from the trend i see based on all the recruitments in 2012, there's always 7-10 weeks apart (or more) from each walk-in. and based on operational needs as well.

went last saturday and got booted out immediately after the first round. sigh. :(
it was my third time trying, got booted out from the second round the previous time and first round again during my first time.
so sad, disheartened and frustrating all at once.

got the question "what is your favourite breakfast and why?"

in the end 4 from my group of 10 got in, to which 2 answered "macdonalds", one said "fry lice" (she's from thailand, hence the accent) and another one said "pancakes".

thought i would be able to make it but i thought wrong!
i think alot counts on luck too?

so sad. :(

A girl from NUS from the management round ytd told me that she was told that the next walk in would be on 9march. She was at the career fair at her sch and she was asking if she should go for it. So the girl told her if she want she can try the walk in on 9march. Not sure how true but that's what I heard:)

@rouge thanks dear. I'll mention it the next time round. hehe t
here's so many things that I didn't mention too. sad. heard that there was a passage reading at round 3 but the interviewer didn't even ask me to read anything and just asked me afew questions.

if the next opening is in mar9, I'll surely go for it! haha

I will also be going for the March interview. By the way, how was the skin check conducted?

Did you use the right foundation for your skin tone? Do take care of your skin. I failed the skin check on the first try although I was able to cover up my flaws. Maybe they're accessing our skin types?
Yoyobin what is ur skin type? Use a primer after the usual moisturizer and put on concealer for ur imperfections, Make-up forever concealer from Sephora is a good one. Maybe you can try liquid foundation instead of powdered one and use loose powder after liquid foundation. Laura Mercier has a few good range if u have oily skin.

skin check wasn't v strict. only asked how I was feeling and told me to relax and not be so tensed. asked what kinda transport did I take to reach Sheraton and if I had breakfast. haha the person checking me was v kind and nice. then she requested that I turn my face from left to right to check for any scars and asked if I have any scars or tattoos. that was all!

That sounds lenient! I thought they would have had some spotlight to shine on ur face. I think when one round is easy, another round wouldn't. Last round was skin check, this time was 1st round. Don't know how it will be like for the next round.
