haha hey! I was in the same group as you! I mentioned chicken rice. lol but I got booted out during the 1-1 :'(
it was kinda tough I felt. cause I mentioned that I was working for 2 years previously and now I've left my job. and the interviewer mentioned that it was too risky for me to leave my job (banking industry) and jump over to being a cc. and he seemed really unhappy when I explained that I wanted a change of environment even though I have customer service experience.
idk what to do if I go for the next intake now.
the sky is the limit. (:

Oh dear. I have a scar on my hand too but it's very light so it's not obvious. Did you use concealer to cover up your scar? I agree with that person that you should consider removing the scar because SIA is really picky about this.

@mastera7x
Hey bro,
I feel you. Pay a visit to a dermatologist and see what they have to say about your scar. I've been doing laser treatments on my face to remove old post acne hyper pigmentation too. You'll have to endure it. Especially time for the scar to heal and perhaps skipping the future interviews for the moment. Will take a while to recover and be ready for coming interviews. Thats my opinion anyway. NEVER GIVE UP! Emirates??

i want to know this too. gt thru all rounds in my first attempt but didnt clear medical round and i havent been able to even get thru first round in subsequent attempts. if there is really a 'ban', then i dun wanna waste my time anymore.
Hi, why do you fail your medical, do you know the reason? How many times did you try after you failed your medical? I feel that they have a record

Yes, it's huge enough for anybody to see. haha! That's quite a pretty bad scar on your hand, try to visit a dermatologist if you're really keen with SQ as the interviewers are quite strict about visible scars. As for your finger, your scenario is the first I've come across in this thread so I cant comment on it.
Admire your determination! Good luck to you in your subsequent interview(s)

Aww, at least they're giving you more chances! More exercise and lesser CNY goodies! :p You're soooo near, just don't give up ya!

Hi Jaywii,
I think having to tell them that u wanted to have a change of environment doesn't sound convincing enough because who knows u might want to opt for a change of environment in years to come? Perhaps u might want to emphasize ur passion in customer service instead and find a better reason why u decide to leaving banking and be a CC, since both trade deals with customer service. Good luck!

a friend told me today's management round hardly has guys, meaning SIA is not in need of stewards now.
mimipan, did u take the chance to ask roughly when is the next recruitment?

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
