went on 4 aug, got call on 13 aug, contract on 20 sep, starts training on 24 sep right?
i shouldnt have declared anything during medical else we might be batchmates!
gaahhhh i hope they'll call within this week..
Anyway,
to those who are in doubt about the qualifications,
save the trouble of trying out in the interview if you dont have the minimum requirement.
despite how things were like previously, if you happen to know anyone who got through although they were lacking of the education, as of the last interview on 4th aug, they'll only entertain those who meet the requirement.
@ jeff
during medical stage, they'll check our height and weight, eyesight, some typical checks by their doctor when you usually visit the polyclinic and imptly, an xray test.
Thanks for your reply, may i know what kind of eye check do they conduct? The basic reading letters? By the way, does anyone knows the standard for teeth? I have slightly yellowish set row of teeth because of my antiobotic intake when i was small, and I had been elimitated x2 in the skin check round. FYI, I had never progress to the 3rd stage.

@ janniz toffee
yeah not for me either. definitely this week i hope!
@ jeff
close one eye, read the letters within a distance, color blind test.
should be a breeze
as for the teeth, why would they take those with yellow teeth when they can take those with white teeth?
as long as its not obviously yellow, then it should be fine.
besides, during the skin stage, its more than just your skin that determines getting through it.
gotta be friendly to the person who's checking you too.

i guess SQ is quite strict on the alignment and teeth
is becos u spend most of your time smiling
thats why it cant be of too obvious white...

they dont care what diploma you take.
as long as its a completed diploma, best preferably from local institutions and not private diplomas (to be safe).
they dont even care what grades you get either.
so long as you have the certificate of completion of diploma.
thats the least minimum criteria.
Is temasek a private poly? What about sp?

Thanks for your reply. My Alignment is alright, it's just the color. I had done researching for solutions, and it stated that intrinsic coloring can be difficult to whiten. I'm so losing hope.

@ jayy
Temasek Polytechnic
Ngee Ann Polytechnic
Singapore Polytechnic
Republic Polytechnic
Nanyang Polytechnic
Private diplomas institutions:
MDIS etc
@ jeff
you might wanna consider whitening?
but do search on the pros and cons of it first
or toothpaste that has whitening element in it might help too.
i recommend pearl white.
this is a long process though
but for this coming interview, just try smiling without your teeth seen or less of it.

But in terms of education status, I suppose higher nitec is the better among N and O, firstly Higher Nitec they have a relevant skills that they learn in ITE.Secondly, some of the Higher Nitec holder are O' cert holder as well , definitely Higher Nitec holder are better than O'level holder's.

higher nitec not necessarily be better than O level.
higher nitec is based on nitec which is based on N level or a poorly done O level.
so thats why they still require O level as it is the basic benchmark.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
