hello toffiee.

oh dear, that means it could be anything!
well its beyond our control, so i guess we just leave it to Him huh.

another job opportunity?
well is it better than SIA? i doubt you wanna give up easily after making this far right? i feel just a little more patience and we'll definitely get what we want.

anyway, how many posts do i need to have before i can PM ?

since so many resigned, then they should replace with relatively the same number of new recruits right?
then they should just accept those who are generally healthy and not be so strict and choosy.

i dont mind waiting for a confirmed training date given but waiting for the call, god knows when, is exhilarating !

heyy guys, im from 4 aug batch too, still waiting for the call even tho my availability was immediate. guess we can't do much but hang around for the call. but i think if they'd want to reject you they would do it early, so no news for now still means good news. haha. think positive lah! does anyone know if there are other training batches in September earlier than the 22nd?

yeah, you have a good point there.
must be optimistic! haha.

if im not wrong, there's 3rd sept, 10th sept.
there are even those who went for the interview back in may, starting training on those dates. i wonder what was their notice period.
hi xobarbiee..

is 24th sept the earliest training date given by SIA ?
I was from the 4th August batch and in my application, I stated as immediate. I went for medical on the 6th. In my medical, I didn't declare much (just mild cramps and mild car sickness).

So I received my call on the 13th. The person informed me that I'll be starting my training on the 24th. If I'm not wrong, during the briefing, they said if within 2 weeks you don't receive any letter, you're safe :)

Some of you may not receive your call yet, maybe because of your availability.

Hope my info helps!

@ xobarbieee

wow you're very lucky, just within a week aft med you got a call.
so now although you have to wait till 24th, at least you're already accepted huh. congrats!

i shouldnt have been itchy hand to declare about my hospitalization and they required a medical report which i already submitted yesterday.

hopefully my xray has already been processed and they'll call me by this week!

*crossfingers*
