When do they start calling you? And do they email or call you?
I have been waiting and waiting! :(
Thanks!
Cheers and good luck to all! :D
May I know which interview did you go and when did you clear your medical?
I went for the May 19th interview and got to kebaya round. Unfortunately was informed they would call me for a review next interview. I have not received any notification and is getting worried they might not call me afterall :(
My friend from the 19th May interview has already received an email to go back for a review. Be patient because I believe SIA has their reasons! It may seem like they've forgotten you but I doubt so! The worst case scenario would be them rejecting you BUT they will also definitely send you a rejection letter by mail to your residential address. So don't worry too much! They will not leave you hanging :)

If you do not look like you're in your 30s then maybe? However, like someone said earlier, why would they hire someone in their 30s if they can hire someone who's 18 or 21?

If you google "Singapore Girl", there will be many sites stating the it is SIA's icon. The flight stewardesses are supposed to be young and fresh. You can't compare it with BA. The trademark of SIA is the Singapore Girl. If you think you can offer them what an 18 year old can offer, then go ahead.

However, to prepare you for the worst, I highly doubt so - in the first round of group interview, you'll be asked to introduce yourself. There will be many young girls there and when you introduce yourself amongst them, they will definitely compare you with the group.

Signing of the deed of covenant

Post by chatoyant_ » Fri, 15 Jun 2012 5:35 am

Hello everyone. Just a quick question:

How long before the training date will we receive the email to come down to sign the deed with our surety/guarantor?

Btw, I'm starting my training on 5th July. Anyone else starting training on the same date?

Please respond if you know anything, because the wait is killing me.
And thank you in advance :)

Hi there!
May I know what condition/problem did your friend has?
I still have not received any notification from them to go for review,
My friend Has already received many days ago! So I was wondering if they categorize the problems and give more time for certain problems? I tried 8 times before gettin to kebaya(last) round. I would be so despondent if they just forget about my application! Because going for round 1 all over again would not guarantee I come to kebaya stage again! :(
Anyone hasn't been called for review too? It's already Friday I doubt they would!

Why don't you tell me what issue did they tell you you have then I will tell you of its similar/same? If I'm not wrong, they told my friend to go down "next month" which is this month, so I guess they gave her a time frame.

Normally for reviews they won't put it too far back unless your availability date stated is way far back. What's your availability date that you stated?

Hi
I was told I look disproportionate in the kebaya... So the lady told me they will contact me again during next intake. And that I can go straight to kebaya round. But I haven't received any calls :(

hey toffeejellybeans,

to ease your worryness right, i will suggest u to probably drop a email to the cabincrew_recruit, and probably enquire about your review date etc, in a tactful manner. write it in a way that shows u r still keen in this position etc.

i'm similar in your shoes also. i actually cleared my kebaya and medical round n got my trng dates, but got to defer cos ive one more degree module to clear(some last min changes in my uni), so have no choice but to defer training, and had to attend a review in Sept!

from what i heard from many of my friends, review is quite alright, and easy. wish u all the best alright! keep us updated =)

I agree with Leng123. Just drop them an email to ask! Don't seem impatient but keen and curious as to when your review date will be.
