Yup, I saw it in the news too. SQ were not making any gains or something. Just hopefully they don't freeze the recruitment.

Anyone will be starting training on the 19th of June?
Good luck to the rest who will be going for the interviews on the 19th of May! Tip is just be yourself and remember not to be too longwinded esp for the first round interview despite the fact that they give you a minute for your self intro and answering of the question.

Singapore Airlines Group (SIA) reported net income of S$ 336 ($ 269.5 million) for its fiscal year ended March 31, a 69% drop from a S$ 1.09 net profit in the prior year. Recruitment is due to large numbers of crew quitting. Why they quit you might ask, the answer is just the same for everyone who quit from their job. Hope that nobody going to loss their job due to the poor profit compared to last year.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.
