Hmm ok. Anyway just a quick question. Does one have to be excellent in their command of english? Or just be able to speak out your thoughts would do?
Erm not really excellent but you must be fluent in your english. No singlish.
Ok! Thanks alot! You got booted out during the management round right? What kind of questions do they ask during the management round?

hellp everyone! :)

during my mgmt intv on dec 4th.. they asked us "assume that u have a friend that has been trying out for SIA many times but she has been told thatshe needs to change some part of her face to pass the intv. she asks u to lend her some money for a cosmetic surgery.. will u lend it to her?"

then we were split into 2 grps of 3.. one is proposition and the other is opposition. all 6 of us passed :) it really doesnt matter what u say.. as long as it makes sense and u r enjoying the discussion with ur mates :) i personally feel being domineering is not good as this job requires us to be team players.. so listening n respecting the views of ur fellow.grpmates is v important :)

hope my input helps! :) good luck to all of you!! :) see u onboard! :)

Anyway i went for the 7th Jan interview and cleared almost all rounds:
(1) Round 1
(2) Height & Cert Checks
(3) Skin Check
(4) 1-to-1 Interview
(5) Management Round

During my last round which is the Kebaya Round, i was informed that i've been put on KIV. I assumed that i don't look that good in kebaya because the lady informed me to slim down abit. I have to email them once i've slim down. They assured me that i do not have to go through the interview rounds all over again. The review interview will just be a Kebaya Round for me. And they also claimed that they will give me a call upon receiving my email to inform me of my review date. So right now, it's like i'm hanging with no solid answer on how high are my chances right now.

Anyone experience this before?
Hi Bellarini,

I passed all interviews including medical for 3th Dec interview. During the kebaya stage, there is a girl who was ask to come back for review after 1 month due to her skin complexion. She too like you need not go through all stages.

So keep your spirits up cos it all means u still have a very high chance if you get to achieve what they want you to. However, don't get too obsessed becos health is still the most impt. Jiayou!
Thank you GClover! Hopefully I can clear the review stage. Shall update again! :D

Hey peeps, btw anyone got thru with braces?? I feel like trying again, but if I were to wait for my braces to be removed in a few months time, then I would miss out a lot of interviews. :(

Same thing happened to me during the medical check up last month. Most likely you have scoliosis (curvature of the spine). However, if you have no history of it, you need not worry about it as yours is probably a minor one. However after the 2nd x-ray, the call took a very long time to come for me. All the best!

For mine, they only asked about the core values of SIA. There are six values and they will ask you to explain the given core values since there are six people in a group, each of us have to explain one core value each. My group doesnt have any debate at all hmmm.....

I have seen a couple of candidates make it through to Management round and they wear braces. I guess it's acceptable because they're nearly through with the course of correction? :)
How long more do you have to wear yours?

There can be a lot of reasons for that. But seeing that SIA really need people now, people with some problems that can be rectify will be placed under the kiv list. So it may be due to posture, don't look good in the kebaya etc that couldn't have immediate rectification that caused you to be booted out? But of course that's just my guess and it may not be true. :)
