Its my first time and it feels discouraging to get booted out at the very end, when I am so near to my dreams. But at least I get to experience all the stages, except kebaya.

I am 20 this year, and my degree intake (16 mths) is in Sep. I am really hoping I manage to pass the interviews before then. If not, I will be 21+ when I get to try again. :(
Hey glad that you have the determination to try again but if you were to go and you get blacklisted for nothing, then your dreams would be dashed in an instant. Take the time to reflect where you have gone wrong and try again. I am trying for this upcoming one since it has passed my 6 months ban.

Personally, I was not informed of any ban nor do the rest of my group who failed. The staff just told us 'The rest of you, you are not selected.' and thats the end of the interview..

hello guys :) i'm new here and it's great to see so many aspiring cabin crew staffs here. i've been thinking of applying as one in the future for quite awhile so i'd like to ask a few questions from those who are more experienced/have went for the interviews before?

i'm 18 this year, currently taking a diploma in communication and will be graduating in 1 and half to 2 year's time. at the same time i'm thinking of getting braces to further straighten my teeth. by the time i take them off, i'll be graduating at the same time. i'd like to apply to be a cabin staff at that time (i'll be 20), is that a good age to start off?

i'm also quite worried that having just a diploma makes me "lose out" to others who have a degree /: if they're looking out for fluency and strength in english then i think i shouldn't have a problem with that because i'm a communication student. but if they're looking for higher qualifications then i may be at an disadvantage.

also besides being bilingual, does being able to speak conversational korean and japanese adds onto the chances of passing the interview?

yes, 20 is an excellent age. and they dont really care how high your qualifications are. as long as you hit the minimum requirement, you are fine. in fact, through all the rounds in my interview, all degree holders got kicked out. they are more looking for your character and confidence and how much you would suit the job rather than you are holding some masters but cant speak for nuts.
knowing other languages helps. remember to include that in your application form.

i think they cut to three months. but now since they are so in need to people they might have forfeited the ban

Hmm.. seems like they changed the date and venue... Or is it their website giving them problem again?

Interviews will be conducted on 7 August (Saturday) at:

Marriott Singapore
The Gallery, Level 2
320 Orchard Road
Singapore 238865

But i would assume so that their web giving them problem as i just checked my calendar 7 August is a Sunday not Saturday.
